  The DVD is the fastest growing consumer format in history. Hundreds of millions of DVD players have been manufactured worldwide, every one of them equipped with Dolby^® Digital decoding. More DVD-Video (DVD-V) titles are released in Dolby Digital than in any other audio format, and most DVD-V discs feature either a 5.1-channel Dolby Digital or a two-channel soundtrack.
